Clever Kombucha is created by combining whole leaf organic Assam tea, organic cane sugar and a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast). A SCOBY is the living home for the good bacteria and yeast that transform sweet tea into tangy fizzy kombucha which is jam packed full of enzymes and probiotic goodness.

Clever Kombucha are committed to using only the highest grade organic tea and feature the finest produce and herbs to flavour the kombucha. All of the tea is produced by a co-operative of 6 small scale growers in India, who harvest the finest Assam tea and in turn are paid fairly, helping to bring sustainability to their rural community.

Additionally, the kombucha is fermented in custom made oak barrels to maximise all of the benefits and so naturally, we found it an easy choice to stock here at Oak & Maple.
